Fillet Arc
- Alternate method: Using fillet between arcs: "pick the desired radius for the fillet -> offset each arc by that distance -> draw a circle from the intersection of those two points with a radius equal to the desired fillet radius -> trim away." (otherwise you can just use the Fillet Arc option - Revit will tell you if the Radius chosen is valid, but won't tell you the min & max possible)
Spline
NOTE: The tooltip is misleading. The Spline tool (for Detail Lines, etc.) can only create a spline through two endpoints (and with control points to "pull" the curve along the intermediate). If you need it to fit multiple points, this isn't the tool to use (but the massing environment has a similar tool that CAN pass through multiple points, see Spline Through Points).[1]

TODOs
- create a "Spline through points" tool
Notes
- ↑ 2018-03-26 11:07-:11am (HST) LJC: submitted to feedback on "Sketch a Spline Help page for Revit 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015: The phrase "through ... points" is misleading because the only time you can create a spline through points is in the massing environment (which is totally useless for trying to create a Detail Line). Instead, specify "through endpoints and near others", or just create a "Spline through points" tool.
